BETTER TOGETHER 2020 is the premier conference of The Salvation Army in the United States, where thousands of officers, staff, and advisory organization members gather from every corner of the country to become better storytellers, fundraisers, volunteers, advocates, and partners to better support local Salvation Army units Doing the Most Good.

Amplify Your Voice: If your community doesn’t know it happened, it didn’t. Learn to tell The Salvation Army’s story in powerful and audience-grabbing ways.

Grow Your EDS Capacity: As a growing element of The Salvation Army’s public identity, we must be continually ready to answer the call of a community in need during an emergency or crisis. Learn to more effectively serve during large or small disaster events, and how to make known The Salvation Army’s role in dark times.

Fulfill the Mission: Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ AND to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Just doing one of those two things is not enough. Learn how we can more effectively fulfill The Salvation Army’s mission by working TOGETHER.

Build Your Board: We achieve more when we work TOGETHER! Learn to build a board, advisory organization, women’s auxiliary, or Echelon chapter from the ground up, and how to motivate fellow members to intentional, positive action.
